Options
Clean remux (recommended): remuxes the file with FFmpeg (moov first, faststart, all CapCut/editor metadata stripped) WITHOUT touching the video or its timing. The upload keeps its real 60fps and normal playback speed - it is just a clean, canonical container. This avoids "Only me" without any frame tricks or speed changes.
High-quality re-encode: decodes the video and re-encodes it with libx264 plus a sharpening pass - a much better "master" for TikTok's own re-encode, so the served result is noticeably sharper. Sharper = CRF 14, slow preset (slowest, best quality). Faster = CRF 18, veryfast preset (several times quicker, still sharp). The upload keeps exactly 60fps (constant frame rate) and the resolution of your CapCut export. 4K sources are auto-downscaled to 2K - TikTok serves max 1080p anyway, so you lose nothing and the encode is ~2x faster. Tick "Upscale to 2K" only for 1080p sources that want extra headroom (1440x2560) - very slow but the sharpest option. After posting, check the TikTok player tag: it should read 1080P/60 or higher.
PREX Method (recommended): rebuilds the container so the video track stays 100% byte-identical (every frame, every SEI NAL untouched - same fps, same resolution, same quality) while the audio sample table exposes exactly 10x the real sample count using synthetic 8-byte samples. The declared audio duration covers only the real audio, so the file plays at normal speed everywhere. TikTok reads the optimized-looking table, keeps your real 60fps/120fps video and serves it at full resolution instead of re-compressing to SD. Notes: (1) H.264/AVC video + AAC audio required (CapCut MP4 exports are ideal) - other codecs are stream-copied into an MP4 first automatically, or use re-encode mode; (2) upload from a PC browser only; (3) test on a dummy account first; (4) keep "Allow high-quality uploads" ON.
Inflate frames (legacy): replaced most frames with duplicate NAL blocks. Easily caught by TikTok's per-frame content analysis - this is the variant that kept landing on "Only me". Kept for backward compatibility, not recommended.

TikTok upload checklist
  • Upload from PC (tiktok.com/upload or TikTok Studio web) - never from the phone app, it re-encodes and undoes the patch.
  • Set post privacy to Everyone on the upload screen before posting.
  • Do not edit / crop / add music inside TikTok after uploading - any in-app edit re-encodes the file.
  • Toggle "Allow high-quality uploads" ON in TikTok Settings → Content preferences.
  • If a post still lands on "Only me": clear tiktok.com cookies, re-login, then retry with a fresh session.
  • Verify the served result with the Check video tab (or the @retiktok_bot) after posting.

Questions members ask
Will my video be re-compressed?No. For H.264 sources the video track is byte-identical — TikTok sees the file as already optimized. Non-H.264 files get one clean H.264 conversion (CRF 14, near-lossless) so the upload always succeeds.
Does it work with 120 fps?Yes. 120 fps sources are supported and keep their frame structure; TikTok displays up to 60 fps, but the served quality stays full-resolution and sharp.
Is my video uploaded to your server?Never. Everything runs in your browser with in-browser FFmpeg. Only anonymized counters are sent to the studio.
How do I subscribe?Join the Discord server, pay the $8/month, and you're in. Sign in with Discord and the studio unlocks.
What if my upload still fails?The studio auto-converts any codec to H.264+AAC, so uploads are compatible by construction. Use the Check tab to verify what TikTok serves after posting.
